Leadership Learning Network (LLN)
Sent November 4, 2024
Dear Alumni,
We hope you are well! This month, we are excited to share our Alumni Team Spotlight Archive on the LLN Portal. On the archive, you can read past spotlight stories about our alumni teams and the work they have done since their time in LAPH. We plan to add to this archive as we continue to publish alumni team spotlight stories!
This month, we’d also like to highlight a messaging guide developed by Berkeley Media Studies Group and CHLI's National Overdose Prevention Network. Communicating About Overdose Prevention & Harm Reduction provides recommendations for local leaders and advocates in how to communicate about overdose prevention, substance use treatment, and harm reduction. It also shares sample framing strategies on key issues, such as reducing stigma surrounding substance use; responding to misinformation; and specific messaging considerations for rural communities. For teams focusing on overdose prevention and harm reduction, we highly recommend this resource as a way to support the important work being done to ensure the safety and health of their communities.
Wishing you all the best,
