California Leadership Academy for the Public’s Health (CALAPH)

Advancing health equity for all Californians

The California Leadership Academy for the Public’s Health (CALAPH) works with multi-sector teams across the state of California to advance their leadership practice and address social determinants of health. Many of the four-person multi-sector teams are from The California Endowment Building Healthy Communities sites and work toward long lasting county and regional impact.

Past teams have focused on the built environment, joint-use facilities, park improvements and expansions, and obesity prevention.
