ACCELERATING IMPACT ACROSS THE NATION
For 15 years, The National Leadership Academy for the Public’s Health (NLAPH) has equipped teams with adaptive leadership skills and tools to address complex public health issues.
NLAPH began in 2011 in response to the need for investment in public health leadership, building capacity to work across sectors, and creating sustainable impact that improves community health.
Funded by Centers for Disease Control, National Center for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Public Health Infrastructure and Workforce, this 9-12 month long fellowship program served as a model for collaborative, multi-sector approaches to public health across the country.
IMPROVING HEALTH IN CALIFORNIA
The California Leadership Academy for the Public's Health (CALAPH) helped address the unique challenges of improving health and equity at a regional level.
The California Leadership Academy began in 2011 and supported teams to build leadership capacity, work across sectors, and advance solutions that addressed the challenges of creating regional impact in a geographically diverse state.
