Overview
Our Healthy Environments for All Project would like to make a direct correlation between early intervention for youth and families that have been exposed to lead with wrap around services in addition to housing improvements (lead abatement, weatherization, renovation etc.). This project would like to provide Lead Poisoning Prevention Services whilst improving housing for those families who have been affected.

Overview
This project aims to: 1) improve cancer screening and early detection for breast, cervical and colorectal in target population; 2) reduce initiation of tobacco use; 3) empower the community to lead grassroots efforts to improve the community’s health; and 4) train Cancer Ambassadors to conduct peer education efforts.

Newborn Congenital Heart Disease Screening

Overview
The project will implement newborn screening for critical congenital heart disease in Maryland by targeting all live-born infants through established partnerships. This will involve developing protocols for screening and follow-up, as well as education of family, hospital staff, and community providers. Hospital staff will also be trained on data reporting for this screening.

Overview
The project seeks to develop a public/private partnership to reduce the burden of oral disease among low-income and uninsured adults in Fredrick County. The methods proposed include increasing access to oral care service delivery points, launching a new dental clinic, and establishing a regular rotation for site coverage.
