Kankakee County, IL
Cohort 8 - 2019
NLAPH
Overview
The team’s goal is to develop a trauma-informed county focused on data, dispersion, and policy. The goal is to create a data collection system around the effects of trauma to evaluate the efficacy of trauma prevention and healing efforts. The project will connect physicians with nursing students who can help the team apply Dr. Nadine Burke Harris' model for administering the ACEs and Resilience Surveys that avoids retraumatization.
