Collaboration

In The Collaboration Handbook: Creating, Sustaining, and Enjoying the Journey, Michael Winer and Karen Ray say that we must embrace ambiguity and complexity, and that collaboration requires complex long-term thinking and conflict management. Part of LAPH is a focus on the early need for empowerment in collaboration, specifically the need to "empower ourselves by working individual to organization." In this handbook, the authors discuss the importance of working from individual to organization to clarify the relationships that empower us to act. A key to movement in our LAPH team efforts is each individual having the authority to make decisions and act for whom they are representing. This is a key element of the first phase, Inspiration.
